When I tell you that ebay sucks
big time, believe it. I paid eBay over $100,000 in
fees during the time I was in business.
I started eBaysucksbigtime.com because I
now live in a state of madness over how (as a
good customer) I have been permanently banned
from eBay for life (so they say).
have done nothing wrong, yet I have been the
brunt of some strange retaliation on behalf of
eBay. In my 5 years on eBay I had
completed over 25,000 eBay transactions and
spawned 3 other power sellers who now are in the
5 figure positive feedback range.. Once I sold
my business I opened another eBay account
because I was no longer doing business with my
original id which was wwwbuycablesnowcom. At
that time of the business sale I started using
my account called lotsofwebsites.
The company that bought my business totally
destroyed the operation for being non-responsive
to their eBay customers and ultimately the
wwwbuycablesnowcom account was shut down. eBay
developed some sort of strange idea or
miscommunication that I specifically sold my
eBay id which was not the case. Subsequently
eBay shut down my wife's eBay account
permanently then several other accounts that I
had and my kids accounts too - all for "being associated with
ebay id wwwbuycablesnowcom".
I have faxed eBay proof of my identity on more
than 15 different occasions yet my emails and faxes
continue to go unanswered, surprised?
eBay has costing me a livelihood and revenue /
cash / money.
I have been very patient waiting for eBay to
respond and to correct the errors with my
account shut off but of course they do not
respond and hide behind some sort of iron
curtain.
Let me also mention that I called eBay Gold
Power Seller support several times to inquire as
to how to handle the transfer of the current id
over to the new ownership. powerseller support
told me to give the new owners the id and
password - then have the new owners go in and
change the email, contact info, and password. At
that point the new owners would have control of
the id and the account and that is all that
would need to be done. I followed those
instructions and now end up in the situation I
am in.
Edith at ebay legal has sent me
threats to shut this site down. I told
them to shove it where the sun don't shine.
I told their legal department to restore my id
then the site gets shut down. You know
what screw ebay, they suck big time.
